Jwapi Spa opens at Elephant’s Eye, Hwange

Last month we announced that Elephant’s Eye, Hwange had taken top spot on TripAdvisor ranking #1 of 14 speciality lodges in Hwange National park.

This month is gets even better with the opening of the Jwapi spa.

Jwapi, meaning ‘Ground Hornbill’, rejuvenates the mind, body and soul through a unique combination of African and Western massage techniques. The stress and tension of everyday life is gently soothed and the body is left feeling fresh, renewed and ready to start again.

Spa Treatment Menu

Swedish Massage
A restorative massage using regulated pressure, gliding and kneading. This invigorating massage improves circulation, increases flexibility and eases muscular aches and tension:

  • Full Body – 90 minutes – $70
  • Neck and Shoulder – 60 minutes – $50

Deep Tissue Massage
A firm pressure massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. This massage is more focused and helps to release chronic muscle tension and knots.

  • Full Body – 90 minutes – $80
  • Neck and Shoulder – 60 minutes – $60

Relaxing Massage
Ultimate relaxation – this massage concentrates on all the specific pressure points and encourages the body to release all muscular tension resulting in you feeling calm and rebalanced.

  • Full Body – 90 minutes – $65
  • Neck and Shoulder – 60 minutes – $45

 

Meet the massage therapist Susan

susan, Jwapi Spa, Elephant's Eye, HwangeSusan hails from a history of Beauty Therapy studying at the Oasis of Beauty College in Bulawayo and working for Clarins in one of their most prestigious SPA’s in Zimbabwe.

Susan uses treatments and oils that are 100% organic making sure that any massage in the serene setting of Elephant’s Eye will be relaxing and assure stress release.
